MDH Utility Services is a family run business which has been established since 2004. It specialises in Civil Engineering, and ground works to the Utility industry which involves working closely with the much larger Utility and Construction companies such as Morrison Utility Services, Murphy’s, Balfour Beatty etc. We also provide Civil Engineering work for the local Government, right down to domestic customers. So whether you require 10 miles or more of cable or pipe laying or simply a new water stop valve installing MDH Utility Services are the people you need.

Now the company has been established for 10 years, I now want to grow the business even further and also provide another alternative for customers in regards to work for local Government, builders and the general public.

For many years it has been a fact that when obtaining a price to get your new electricity connected to your property or to houses you have built, even street furniture, you could only approach the electricity company themselves.

Now I’m hoping to provide another alternative. I have been working very hard over the last 12 months to become recognised as a company able to offer products such as electric connections for new housing developments, street lighting connections for local Governments, installation of electric mains and services onto new building sites. This accreditation has taken determination, stamina and a large investment on my behalf so you can be assured I mean business and I want the company to succeed. We are the only Lincolnshire based company to hold NERS accreditation through the Lloyds register allowing us to compete in the electric connections sector

I feel that one of the biggest issues from my own personal experience is not necessarily the cost of a job but the lack of communication to get the job done. Therefore one of my main missions is to allow customers to have direct contact with myself and all of my managers and supervisors all of the time. That way each and every individual call will be dealt with professionally and with high priority. This will make it feel much more personal and the customer won’t feel like just another number getting lost in the system. We aim to reduce the lead times people have to wait for a connection to the electricity network. We will have dedicated people available to be contacted directly to deal with your connection no more waiting to be put through to the right department we are the only department and will deal with calls direct.

Being able to connect the Electricity supply is hopefully just the beginning. Sometime in the future we hope to be able to do the same for Gas and Water.

MDH Utility Services cover a wide area which will take in Lincolnshire, Humberside and Yorkshire. This covers such areas in and around the likes of Lincoln, Gainsbourgh, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Louth, Grimsby, Hull, Beverley and many other areas. This is geographically a very large area and we hope to provide a unique and special service to these regions.
